TRUSTEES/DIRECTORS WANTED – voluntary positions

Refugee Support Group Devon is a local charity based in Exeter. We provide support to refugees, asylum seekers and their dependents in the area.

We are in the process of change and are looking for new members to join us as trustees/directors.

Skills, or an interest in coordinating skilled volunteers, in the following areas are particularly sought:

 

• Fundraising
• Events coordination
• Education and Training
• Media and Publicity
• Personnel
• Management
• Campaigns
• Finance and Business

We are also currently seeking a new TREASURER. This is a voluntary role, requiring a commitment of just a few hours each month. The role of Treasurer will involve attending management meetings (currently once per month). The treasurer will liaise with our book-keeper and present the accounts at these meetings. They will be able to advise the book keeper on financial matters and compiling accounts ready for annual review and returns.
